1. I can’t log in—what should I do?

What’s happening
You entered your email or phone number but can’t get into your account: the page freezes, the verification code never arrives, or an error appears.

Things to try

  1. Check your internet connection
    Even a live Wi-Fi network can be unstable. Switch networks or turn on mobile data.
  2. Make sure your email is typed correctly
    Look for extra spaces, typos, or the wrong keyboard language.
  3. Check the Spam folder
    The confirmation code email might land there.
  4. Wait a couple of minutes and try again
    Emails can be delayed, and the system may pause after multiple login attempts.
  5. Use a different device or browser
    If you’re on the web, try the mobile app—or vice-versa.

Why this may occur

  • Server overload during peak updates.
  • Your mail provider is slowing delivery.
  • Typos in the email/phone number or code.

2. The AI isn’t responding—why, and what can I do?

What’s happening
You typed a question but nothing happened—or the reply was off-topic.

Things to try

  1. Rephrase your question
    Clear, specific queries work best:
    • ❌ "Tell me something"
    • ✅ "Explain in simple terms how Ethereum differs from Bitcoin."
  2. Ask a shorter question
    Very long prompts can take longer to process.
  3. Check your internet and restart the app
    The connection may have dropped, or the chat may have frozen.
  4. Open a new chat window
    Wiping the history and starting fresh often helps.

Why this may occur

  • The question is too broad or ambiguous.
  • A rare server error “stuck” the AI.
  • The prompt contained blocked content (violence, provocation, etc.).

Good prompt examples

  • «How do I build a crypto portfolio with $500?»
  • «What does ‘bear market’ mean?»
  • «How can I tell when to buy a coin?»

📩 If it still doesn’t work
Email contact@collectiveforecast.com with the subject “AI not responding”. Include:

  • Your exact prompt
  • What happened (frozen, blank, wrong topic)
  • Screenshot (if possible)

3. I get an error screen / white screen

What’s happening
You open the app or webpage and see only a blank screen.

What to do

  1. Refresh the page or restart the app
  2. Clear cache
    • Web: Settings → History → Clear cache
    • Mobile: Settings → Apps → CoFo → Clear data
  3. Try another device or browser
    If that works, the issue is local to the first device/browser.
  4. Take a screenshot and report it to us

Possible causes

  • Unstable internet
  • UI glitch after an update
  • Server-side data error

4. How do I reset my password or regain account access?

What’s happening
You can’t log in, forgot your password, or lost access to your email/phone

What you can do

  1. On the login screen tap “Forgot password?”
    • Enter your email → you’ll get a reset link.
  2. Check Spam and Promotions if the mail doesn’t arrive.
  3. Lost email access? Contact support. Provide the email tied to the account and any proof (screenshot, name, account actions).

Why it might fail

  • Email address has a typo
  • Mail can take up to 5 min to arrive
  • Mail provider is blocking our messages

  • Old email
  • When you registered
  • What you’ve tried so far

5. Verification code never arrives — what now?

What’s happening
You entered your email or phone but never received the login/registration code.

Things to try

  1. Check “Spam” or “Promotions.”
  2. Confirm your email is correct.
  3. Check your internet connection.
  4. Wait 1–3 minutes.
  5. Tap “Resend code.” (The button activates after 60 s.)

Possible causes

  • Your mail service is temporarily blocking messages (common with @icloud, @mail.ru, etc.).
  • A code was already sent and won’t be duplicated immediately.
  • The email isn’t registered (during password recovery).

📩 If nothing helps
Email contact@collectiveforecast.com (subject: Code not arriving). Include:

  • The email you used
  • Device and browser type
  • Time of last attempt

6. The AI gave a weird or irrelevant answer

What’s happening
Your reply is confusing, off-topic, or overly generic.

What to do

  1. Rephrase to be more specific.
    • ❌ “Tell me about trading.”
    • ✅ “What is resistance-level trading?”
  2. Ask one question at a time.
  3. Avoid double meanings or heavy slang.

Why it happens

  • The prompt is too broad (“Explain everything about crypto.”)
  • The AI produced a neutral answer for ethical reasons.
  • Occasional drift under heavy load.

Tips for better answers

  • State your level (“I’m a beginner…”)
  • Ask step-by-step: “Explain, then give an example.”

7. How to write a good AI question?

Guidelines

  1. Be specific
    • Bad: “Tell me about coins.”
    • Good: “How does Ethereum differ from Solana in 2025?”
  2. State who you are
    • “I’m new. Explain wallets in simple words.”
  3. Request the format you need
    • “Give me a comparison table of Bitcoin vs. Ethereum.”
    • “Create a 7-day study plan.”
  4. Stick to relevant topics
    • The AI excels at finance, crypto, and strategy (not psychotherapy).

Examples

  • “Explain how a decentralized exchange works.”
  • “List useful YouTube channels for traders.”
  • “Give me a DeFi knowledge quiz.”
